Ku De Ta offer a family day on Sunday mornings from 9am through to 12pm. Kids in Bali can swim in the pool, which has a great shallow section, use the jumping castle, get their face painted or get creative with the free arts and craft activities. The food menu includes kids breakfast and lunch and lots of share options for the whole family, including pizzas and sushi. The beach is right out front, so you can also go for a dip in the ocean.
TAC Tip: This is a great morning activity for the whole family. Put your feet up on a daybed with ocean views and cool summer beats, while the kids in Bali are entertained by the children’s magician for free. If you’ve already had breakfast at your hotel or villa, simply buy a coffee or juice!
The Lawn is located directly on the beach in Canggu and is the place to chill out picnic style on a beanbag, picnic rug with cushions whilst watching the surfing and beach. There are plenty of delicious food choices and a great selection of fresh juices, beers, and cocktails. The grass section is great for the kids in Bali to run around and play without disturbing anyone. It’s the ultimate spot to have a drink and watch the sunset.
TAC Tip: Currently one of the trendiest venues for kids in Bali. Relax and enjoy some guilt-free sundowners with your friends while the kids have as much fun as you.
Amplitude is a Skate Park and Bike Racing Pump Track located in Kerobokan. The Skate Park has a bowl that is 270cm deep the Pump Track is the first of its kind in Indonesia. There is a newly built section that is separate from the larger pump track and skate bowl, which is perfect for smaller kids in Bali who want to learn to skate or ride scooters. This is currently the best skateboarding facility in all of Bali and it’s great for both advanced and beginner skaters.
TAC Tip: It’s best to go to Amplitude early morning or late afternoon as it does get very hot on the grounds as there is no shade and always remember to bring your helmet or you can hire one from the park. Lessons are available for kids in Bali.
Milk and Madu is our favourite café for kids in Bali. This beautiful little cafe has a casual and relaxed vibe and is great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is housed under a traditional open structure and has an enclosed garden area for the kids to run around. The food is delicious, gourmet café food and they do a great kids menu and offer free baby chinos as well as kids toys and colouring in activities. On Sunday afternoons they have family activities such a face painting, balloons and sometimes a jumping castle or arts and crafts.
TAC Tip: If you’ve saved a bit of room for dessert, right across the road is the best Gelato in town. Gelato Secrets offer artisanal italian gelato and sorbetto made fresh in Bali with natural ingredients.

An art studio offering workshops for children and adults. The kid’s classes are great for children interested in developing drawing and painting skills in a creative environment whilst also having fun. Nature, meditation and the ocean inspire the teachers and this is often the foundation for the activities they have the kids doing. They offer classes in the afternoons a few days a week for kids in Bali aged between 4-7 years old and they have a free trial class available. Prices start from US $13 per lesson.
TAC Tip: Check out a little store across the road called Nalu. The founders were 11 and 8 when they started the Nalu Brand. For every 4 products they sell, they give a school uniform to a child who needs one. Our favourite: ‘Let the way you live be the way you give’ tee.
ADDRESS: Jalan Pantai, Bingin
Forget the overcrowded and overpriced seafood warnings at Jimbaran Bay and instead enjoy a beautiful and relaxing afternoon on Bingin Beach, one of the best beaches in Bali as well as being home to one of the best surf breaks on the island. There’s no better Bali family fun with your kids in Bali than a casual sunset session on the beach. On Sundays, many local families come down to the beach and swim in the ocean. It’s also the place to get the tastiest and juiciest corn you will ever eat, best indulged with a Bintang or cold coconut. Kick a soccer ball, fly a kite, or throw a frisbee while you take in the famous Bali sunset. If you prefer to enjoy the sunset from a viewpoint off the beach, check out our Bali’s best sunset bars here.
TAC Tip: We recommend sitting on La Planca’s colourful beach bean bags in Seminyak, strolling the beach in from of Ku De ta, or if you’re in Canggu our favourite spot is Old Man’s Beach at the end of Batu Bolong.
