The Wolas Villa & Spa, Seminyak
Address: Jalan Yudistira No.18, Seminyak (location map)
Day 1: The minute my boyfriend and I arrived, we were greeted with a very warm welcome from the kind staff and a delicious fresh coconut and cooling towels. As we were led to our beautiful villa, the walkways to all the different villas were like a small village in itself, filled with palm trees (my favourite) and lush green grass, making the first glimpse of The Wolas Villas so exotic! The villa was Balinese styled yet still modern which we loved! With a huge pool and massive bathroom, we went straight into relaxation mode, absolute bliss.
Spending most of the day by the pool, we had a quick coffee at Revolver Café in Seminyak before we took a short ride to dinner at Strawberry Fields in Canggu, a very laid back and cool restaurant. The menu had a great range to choose from, we love having some of the traditional Balinese food too. So fresh and tasty!
Day 2: When we woke up we had our breakfasts delivered to our villa, which was AMAZING! Fresh and delicious made by the lovely staff.
Our room was always cleaned each morning, and if we ever needed anything the staff were only a short call away. The Wolas Villas were in such a great location in Seminyak, being a short 10-minute cab ride to Seminyak Square and the best cafés and restaurants in Seminyak, you felt like you were so far from the hustle bustle, and it was so peaceful and quiet we never had any noise! Spending the afternoon at Potato Head Beach Club was great, we love the laid back chilled vibe.
Dash Hotel, Seminyak
Address: Jl. Petitenget No.148, Seminyak (location map)
Day 3: Arriving at Dash Hotel, this hotel is very hipster-like and the room is similar to an apartment. I mean there is a red pool, to say the least! The staff was great and very accommodating. We loved this hotel as it was in the most incredible location, right in the heart of Seminyak which we LOVED! The walking distance to so many shops, restaurant and beach clubs was ideal!
Day 4: We spent the morning at Mrs Sippy, which was only across the road from Dash Hotel. We then did a little shopping in Seminyak and had a relaxing massage before coming back to our trendy room for a chilled afternoon. Walking to dinner at Bikini in Seminyak was so quick! Having a delicious meal and a few cocktails down, we walked back to Dash passing a few other restaurants before crashing back to our room for the night. The warm weather and relaxing mode sure do take it out of you! Our bed was like a cloud which was incredible and we had the best sleep.
Day 5: After having breakfast in the dining area at Dash, we got a cab to Panama Kitchen and Pool, Canggu only a short 8-minute drive (not very easy to walk around those roads so better to get a cab or bike). We loved Panama, it had a really cool Californian vibe with great music a pool surrounded by palm trees. We sipped on cocktails and ate Mexican tapas. It was the perfect lunch spot!
Afterwards, we walked across the road to Finns Beach Club, to check out the beach and what it had to offer, and we loved their beach club décor and atmosphere. Finns had an infinity pool overlooking the surfers in the ocean, and was another great place to sit back, eat, drink, meet new people and watch the waves crashing in.
We decided as it was coming to sunset we would walk back to Seminyak along the beach, which was so perfect. A great 25-minute walk watching the sun sink into the ocean. We thedn made our way back to Seminyak for dinner, at Motel Mexicola!
Villa Legian Kriyamaha, Seminyak
Address: Jl. Pandawa No.88, Legian (location map)
Day 6: Villa Legian Kriyamaha was a beautiful villa well-spaced out and super comfortable. We loved being able to wake up, open the door and jump right into the pool before breakfast being served in our private villa. it was very modern and clean. The staff were above and beyond, absolutely gorgeous! After spending the morning at this stunning villa, we made our way to Soulbytes cafe for lunch in Seminyak which was lovely! We ordered a few main dishes to share between us so we could try a bit of everything and the plates were licked clean. Soulbytes is a relatively new cafe and had an awesome artwork feature wall and layout. we thend caught a cab back to the top of Legian to do some shopping before slowly making our way back to our prviate villa to have some time to ourselves. It was so romtantic and perfect for couples.
Day 7: It was our last day in Bali. After having another gorgeous breakfast at the villa, we had to sadly pack up our things and say goodbye to the sweet staff before getting back home. We took a quick stop past Nalu Bowls in Seminyak on our way to the airport, rounding out the perfect end to our trip!
