Villa Savasana, Canggu
Villa Savasana was a luxurious, yet homelike villa that made myself and my boyfriend feel instantly relaxed. The beach house décor fitted perfectly with the Canggu vibe, and the spacious pool area was perfect for chilling out with a book.
Villa Savasana has a magnificent rooftop where we ate breakfast each morning, with the soothing sound of the ocean. In the evening, the rooftop becomes the perfect place for entertaining friends. The view of the sunset makes it perfect for an afternoon cocktail.
The bedroom was a beautiful spot to relax and end the evening. The king sized bed was comfortable and the ensuite had a beautiful feel about it. The bathtub was large, and with the skylight above made it the perfect place for some down time.
A memorable feature of this villa was the filtered water throughout. This rare feature was definitely appreciated and it removed the cautions often taken when showering in Bali.
Shamballa Residence, Ubud
The Shamballa Residence was like a fairy tale. I could never of imagined in my life to stay somewhere as magical as this.
As we entered the villa, we were welcomed with a drink and a flower necklace. The villa was lit up with candles, and frangipanis were neatly placed everywhere. The first thing I noticed was the location. We were amongst the jungle, and our senses were constantly awoken by the noises of geckos, chipmunks and birds. The spacious bedroom was located on the top floor of this two-story villa. It was romantic to say the least. The ensuite included a magical bathtub, which overlooked the beautiful scenery.
Both nights and mornings we enjoyed the cooking of Gusti, the chef at the villa. All the staff were extremely helpful, and were an absolute pleasure to be around. We enjoyed the privacy of the villa, and even enjoyed an outdoor massage by the pool that was organised by the friendly staff.
Villa Ariana Grande, Canggu
Villa Ariana Grande was spacious, homelike and the perfect place to enjoy the Bali sunshine.
This villa was located in the heart of Canggu, making it easy to find places to eat. One of the days, we wanted to explore a little further than walking distance. The, house keeper at the villa was extremely helpful and organised a bike. Within 15 minutes, the bike was waiting for us at the front door.
The villa’s rooftop overlooked rice fields, and this was a very special feature of this place. The rooftop area is the perfect spot for entertaining, furnished with a large table and deck chairs.
One of the most memorable features of the villa was the large swing chair by the pool. This spot was perfect for a siesta, and instantly made us feel relaxed and at ease at this spacious and luxurious villa.
