COCO BODU HITHI
Once arriving at Coco Bodu Hithi, I had to pinch myself in case I was dreaming. I had never seen such a beautiful place in my life, and I couldn’t believe I was truly there. We were greeted by the lovely staff on arrival, who gave us a tour of the beautiful island and discussed the activities we would be doing throughout the next 2 days. We felt incredibly welcome and the staff were beyond helpful.
After seeing our beautiful beach villa room and putting our suitcases down, we were treated to a fabulous massage at the spa on the resort – it was the most perfect treat after our long flight!
Although there was a storm on the first day, it didn’t change the fact that this was definitely the most beautiful place I had ever seen before. The water was still a gorgeous crystal blue, even when the sky was grey. It truly was heaven on earth, and I couldn’t believe I was really there.
On the second day, we were treated to a gorgeous breakfast with a view of the ocean from our table. The food was absolutely delicious – it was fresh, healthy and tasted brilliant.
We spent the morning exploring the island, taking footage for my Youtube channel, and relaxing.
In the afternoon we had the amazing experience of snorkelling in the ocean, and even got up close with a turtle! The resort had their own marine biologist, who was extremely friendly and helpful, and she taught us so much about the coral reef.
I never wanted to leave this slice of paradise! But we had to venture on to our next dreamy resort…
