The sublime Shalimar Estate comprises of 3 separate beachfront villas: Villa Cantik, Villa Makanda and Villa Kalima and offers 2, 4 and 6 bedrooms respectively. The whole 12 bedroomed estate can be rented for large parties or alternatively any combination of the properties can be rented together giving a vast array of options depending on the size of your group.
The three villas sit in a row facing out over the Indian Ocean on a stretch of beach which is perfect for surfing. They are approached through a grand entrance overlooked by the protection of a large stone Buddha. To one side is a commercial kitchen where food is prepared before it is served to you in the luxury of your beachside paradise.
All the villas are approached through a stunning walkway which provides tantalising vista’s across the endless rice fields. Each property is private and fully detached from the others and the innovative landscaping of the gardens at the front means that each swimming pool area is separated by a riot of tropical greenery.

The Villa Shalimar Estate can be booked exclusively for up to 24 people, or you can book in smaller numbers as outlined below:
Villa Cantik – 2 bedrooms
- 4 people (2 bedrooms: 2 master rooms) 2 extra roll away beds (extra charge)
- Each bedroom features a king size bed with mosquito netting surrounding each bed, desk, cupboards, air-conditioning, fan and safety deposit box with all linens and towels and each room with an ensuite bathroom with shower plus complimentary bathroom amenities.
Villa Makanda – 4 bedrooms
- 8 people (4 bedrooms: 4 master rooms) 2 extra roll away beds (extra charge)
- 4 bedrooms feature king size beds with mosquito surrounding each bed, desk, cupboards, with a daybed in the ground floor ensuite bathrooms bathroom, safety deposit box, air-conditioning & fan. Each of the master bedrooms have a shower and massive bath. All linens and towels are provided and each bathroom features complimentary amenities.
Villa Kalima – 6 bedrooms
- 12 people (6 bedrooms: 4 master rooms, 1 twin and 1 queen) 2 extra roll away beds (extra charge)
- 4 bedrooms feature king size beds, 1 queen and 1 twin (convertible to a queen-size bed) with mosquito net surrounding each bed, desk, cupboards, with a daybed in the ground floor ensuite bathroom, safety deposit box, air-conditioning & fan. Each of the master bedrooms have a shower and massive bath while the queen and twin feature adjacent bathrooms with shower. All linens and towels are provided and each bathroom features complimentary amenities.

The elegant Shalimar Estate is located minutes away from the rural village of Seseh on the south west coast and is flanked in all directions by the phenomenal natural beauty that Bali is famous for. On one side are the white horses of the Indian Ocean and on the other reams and reams of rice fields punctuated by clusters of coconut groves. This is a location of peace and serenity, far from the madding crowds of Kuta and an altogether more authentic experience. Seseh lies between the trendy neighbourhood of Canggu and the more traditional area of Tanah lot and about a 20 to 30 minute drive away from the cosmopolitan hub of Seminyak.
