Some of you might know that Bali is my favorite destination of all times! Living in Singapore allows us to visit this beautiful island almost every month and it feels already like a second home to us. When our friends from Germany announced that they were coming to Bali we of course booked us a flight straight away! As Tobi and I are always quite last minute and a bit too relaxed when it comes to traveling we ended up not having any accommodation sorted a few hours we were supposed to fly out… #storyofourlife
Luckily the lovely Hilje made the super last minute stay possible and accommodated us in her gorgeous villa in Canggu – say hi to heavenly ZIN Berawa – Puri Beji!
LOCATION: CANGGU – THE BROOKLYN OF BALI
ZIN Berawa – Puri Beji is located in laid-back Canggu (Berawa) – one of our favorite areas in Bali! It has such a special vibe – relaxed but vibrant at the same time with new trendy places popping up all around the neighborhood. It feels a little bit like the Brooklyn of Bali! The villa is in a very tranquil location and the beach as well as some great cafes are within walking distance. However, I would always recommend to rent a scooter as it gives you more flexibility in exploring the area and you are able to reach all the Seminyak hotspots within 5-10mins, too!
THE VILLA: DESIGN HEAVEN MEETS LUSH GREENERY
Usually we choose a charming little private villa over a hotel when we are in the Canggu or Seminyak area. This time ‘the charming little private villa’ turned out to be a huge and stunning 4-bedroom villa which we had all to ourselves. Walking through the dreamy entrance door that was covered in pretty flowers already got us super excited about what will await us inside!
As we arrived in the evening the light was dimmed and created an absolute beautiful atmosphere throughout the villa. The dining and lounge area was an open living space right next to the pool and we were quite tempted to jump into the pool right away to swim under the stars… But drinks at Motel Mexicola with our friends were waiting for us that night so we held back until the next morning! 🙂 Since it was only us in the villa I could pick a room out of the four amazing suites. The two biggest ones were upstairs, with a lovely view of the pool and a nice spacious bathroom. Being a pool lover I went for one of the rooms downstairs, with sliding doors so we could directly jump from our super comfy bed into the pool!
The villa seems to be brand new and the overall design is simply beautiful. High class wooden materials meet concrete elements surrounded by a lush tropical garden. The huge gorgeous sunken lounge area and a massive solid wood dining table with seating for 10 or more are the ideal place for a big family or friends gathering! The whole property accommodates up to 24 people, including the dreamy ZIN Berawa – Puri Beji Bed & Breakfast next door.
