Having booked the first night for four girls pre-wedding gave us the chance to catch up on our busy lives – and most importantly the big day ahead – (since we are living scattered across Singapore, Solomon Islands and Australia) while sipping on room-complimentary coconut water and nibbling on local branded almond and chocolate snacks, all dressed down in our pyjamas.
Whether you wish to explore Byron Bay (the beautiful beach is only a 5-minute walk away) and its surroundings or relax in total privacy and heavenly comfort in your spacious room, 28 Degrees Byron Bay will be a memory you’ll cherish forever.
GARDEN ROOMS
We were lucky to spend two nights at one of their beautiful two garden rooms, located on the ground level, each with their own little private plunge pool, garden (breakfast in the sun, hello!) and outdoor shower.
If you ever manage to get out of the bed covered in @cultiver_goods linen (you can thank us later for spilling their supplier!) and set your feet on the black tiled floor with a white cow fur carpet (did we mention interior goals already?), make sure to pack the beach essentials which are thoughtfully prepared by 28 Degrees Byron Bay. Beach umbrella by @sundaysupply.co and beach bag by @thedharmadoor – this makes every Instagram lover’s heart beat faster!
Breakfast comes complimentary with your room and includes to-die-for Byron-made granola, lactose-free yoghurt and a home-made fruit compote you would do anything for to get the recipe.
At the end of the day, their perfectly designed bathroom (black with quality wooden elements) awaits you to wash off the day’s adventures and settle for a cosy night in.
LIGHTHOUSE ROOM
Located on the first floor of 28 Degrees Byron Bay, from this room you get a sneak peak of Byron Bay’s famous lighthouse on Australia’s most easterly point. Watch the local cool crowds roam the streets living it up at Byron’s coolest restaurants, shops and cafés while residing in utter privacy. The Lighthouse room offers maximum relaxation: take a bath in their stylish, deep claw-foot bath with magnesium salts provided before settling in the most comfortable bed with luxury bedding, a complimentary mini bar, Wi-fi and heating or air-conditioning. If you decide to step outside, all of Byron’s highlights are only a short stroll away.
