European style guru Konrad from @rebelfashionstyle takes you to the most stunning private luxury villas in Seminyak, Ubud & Canggu and reveals his favourite places to eat, shop and shoot!
Day 1-2: Villa Air, Seminyak
Our first place to visit was Villa Air. We arrived early in the morning from 16 hours spent on the plane, and were deeply amazed by the beautiful resort hidden in tropical garden. Upon arrival, the hotel staff offered us a welcome drink and a cold towel straight away. Everyone were so smiley which made us feel like home from the start. A lovely lady from the reception took us to our first villa and we were stunned by the size of the place. We had a beautiful garden, fully equipped outdoor salon with kitchen, clean pool, bedroom with amazingly big bed covered with white linen – my personal obsession! Our surprise continued when we saw the bathroom. It saw bigger than the bedroom! All covered in marble and mirrors, the kind of luxury that I like the most.
Next day, we ordered breakfast served at our villa and enjoyed the nature of our garden. After 1 pm, we had our appointment in Villa Air Spa so we just took our kimonos and headed to the spa area. They welcome us with special tea full of cardamon, cinnamon and other spices we don’t know. We both chose Traditional Balinese Massage. We also got a chance to choose our own oil massage- I took tea tree and lemon grass, which is my personal fav. The only disappointment was that we spend only two days in Villa Air it has so much to offer. I know that I want to come back there again!
Day 3-4: Villa Ariana Grande, Canggu
Absolutely loved our second villa at Villa Ariana Grande, and the experience couldn’t have been better. The villa is gorgeous and it’s quiet. Liam, our host, told us everything about the villa and all the things that we can do outside our little paradise. The pool is big and never too cold, and the yard is very green and lovely! This villa is beautiful! It was just designed with so much taste. Living room looks like a photoshoot set – black shiny walls, big sofa and gigantic table with freshly cut flowers. There was no need to eat outside our villa since we had so much space just for us. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are comfy and clean. The staff comes in to clean throughly daily, a guard comes over at night as security. We spent our days in the garden and swimming in the pool. After sunset, streets near our villa gets filled with amazing street food that we took to our living room and just eat and relax. Would definitely stay there again without hesitation, even just for a little nap on the swing next to the pool.
Day 5-6: Amora Villas, Ubud
I will remember Ubud the most, one being Amora Villas with breathtaking views of the jungle. Villas are situated next to a trail, in the middle of the jungle very close to Ubud city. They welcomed us with open arms, we gave us a drink, cool towel, flower in our hair and a special bracelet that I had right now on my hand just to remember that place and for good luck. The staff provided us such a great service in every activity that we want to do in Ubud. We had the opportunity to try the morning yoga with again stunning view to the jungle. If you need a little romance during your stay you can eat dinner on terrace which will be specially prepared for you. If you like adventures, I recommend taking bicycles from Amora to Ubud for wonderful views and sounds of jungle surrounding you from every corner I feel relaxed just from thinking about the time we had there… massages, plants, rice fields and monkeys will be in my memory for long time. We’ll have to go there again and dive in the pool with infinity view to the wild!
